Tip of the Day - Small Bites

Motivation can often seem fleeting, especially on days when the couch calls louder than your goals.

 

To find motivation, break down tasks into smaller, more manageable steps to help shift your focus, giving you the push you need to get moving on any task or project. 

Create an energizing action plan for the next time you feel unmotivated.

 

Feeling unmotivated is normal. Instead of getting stuck in feelings of shame, get ahead of it by writing an action plan. 

Think about what works for you, and have it ready when even the smallest task feels insurmountable. Our suggestions: A playlist of mood-boosting songs, a quick pep talk with a friend or coworker, or a stash of your favorite healthy snacks.
